Customizable Monolithic Pilot Light

2008-08-04 - New Elfin’s latest catalogue CONTROL AND SIGNALLING DEVICES Ø 22” introduces a completely re-designed version of the pilot light.
The light’s most important new features regard safety aspects, the ease and rapidity of installation and the possibility of a wide variety of applications. It is offered in two series that have different light heights:
The first version is only 10 mm. high to aesthetically match all the other components;
The second is more than 31 mm. high and can be installed in many configurations for signalling and monitoring uses.

Safety
All the active parts of the light are protected from accidental contact even during maintenance operations.

Ease of installation
The tightening screws are all perpendicular; the power connection terminals are completely open and the limited size of the lights ensure compact and quick installation solutions.
The particular section of the threading and the exclusive fastening ring nut make it easy to fasten the units onto panels from 9.5 mm. to 1 mm., with a maximum of four turns; the units can be mounted not only with the normal New Elfin spanner but also with a common pair of pliers.

A wide range of uses
The light unit, thanks to the generous opening for ventilation provided on the vertical axis, can take high-watt lamps and support heavy uses in closed housings up to 80°C.

Light personalisation
The good output of light is achieved with an opaque diffuser that can adopt, thanks to reference notches, personalised labels using New Elfin’s heat-transfer printing system.
Only 1/2 turn is needed to tighten the cover.
