New safety system for emergency operators New safety system for emergency operators

2009-02-02 - The conditions in which an appliance must perform its work do not always remain constant or “consistent” with the requirements for which they have been designed. In some cases, external or unplanned factors (vibrations, strong shocks, corrosive agents, incorrect use or inadequate maintenance), risk to compromise the components, which are responsible for the safety of people and things.

To guarantee maximum efficiency of its components New Elfin has designed a special safety system for emergency buttons. The system can be applied to all New Elfin emergency operators because designed on a new contact block, the reference code of which is 020GE01S. This innovative system is composed of two contact elements, one NC connected in series to an NA; thanks to a sophisticated positive action mechanical system the latter closes when block 020GE01S connects with its own operator. Depending on the mechanical system and electrical circuit the new block is able to guarantee continuous efficiency of the shutdown command and intervenes independently opening the circuit when external events, which act on the appliance, can disconnect any component.
