AED – Automated External Defibrillator

Aiming at constantly improving workplace safety for its employees, New Elfin has decided to install an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) at its facilities. The AED is a lifesaving device capable of recognising life-threatening cardiac arrhythmias, stopping them through an electric shock and restoring a regular heart rhythm.

On October 19, 2018, New Elfin held a BLS-D (Basic Life Support, Defibrillation) training course for its employees, issuing a certication and authorising them to use AEDs in the company, the neighbourhood or public areas in case of need at any time.
