Lockable Emergency Stop Push Buttons SM2 Ø22

New Elfin introduces a new line of lockable emergency stop push buttons designed to improve operational safety.

Once the emergency button is activated, it cannot be reset if the lock is in place. This allows operators to perform installation, cleaning, maintenance, or dismantling operations in complete safety.
The protection cover and lock prevent accidental reset, reducing the risk of hazardous situations and avoiding injury or equipment damage (EN 60204-1 – lockout/tagout procedure).

Operator actuation is made easier through the use of a telescopic bezel.

The emergency stop buttons are paired with 2NC (Normally Closed) contact elements, available in both standard and self-monitoring versions.

IThe self-monitoring contacts further increase safety by continuously verifying the effectiveness of the stop command. They automatically open the electrical circuit if external events — such as strong impact, improper maintenance, or incorrect assembly — cause separation between the actuator body and the contact block.
