The latest New Elfin Two-Hand Control Station redefines the concept of industrial safety, offering maximum protection during operations by requiring the use of both hands, in compliance with UNI EN ISO 13851.
This improved version of our previous two-hand device combines ergonomic efficiency with industrial design, providing enhanced performance.
Research first
The new two-hand control station features comfortable rests, the result of an in-depth study of hand anatomy, which support the palmar muscles during operation.
The shape and position of the hand rests are specifically designed to support the thenar and hypothenar muscles, reducing strain on the joints and relieving the weight of the arms.
This ergonomic solution not only improves comfort but also actively helps prevent overuse injuries, such as carpal tunnel syndrome.
It also allows more precise force modulation, reducing fatigue during prolonged activation.
The mushroom-head pushbutton is designed to fit the operator’s natural grip: the shape allows full finger wrapping, enables safe hand positioning, and ensures optimal tactile feedback.
Front plate in technopolymer
The front plate is made of glass-fiber reinforced technopolymer, a material that ensures high mechanical strength while simplifying custom drilling.
Predefined indicators guide accurate drilling for the installation of buttons and control units, making the system extremely flexible and adaptable to various configurations.
The plate is also easily removable from the two-hand unit body, a solution that simplifies mounting and wiring, reducing installation and maintenance time.
Restyling: a side-by-side comparison
The new product line features a more modern, slim and clean look.
The geometry has been revised to remove protruding corners, resulting in a smooth, harmonious design with no sharp or disruptive elements.
This improves aesthetic appeal and reduces the risk of impact or injury during use.
